Update 3:

Today all went good. Treblinka was very poignant yesterday evening and we have just been to Majdanec. It is bitterly cold but hardly any complaints from the boys.

Day 1 in Poland

We’ve spent the day in Warsaw, been to the Jewish cemetery and done a long tour of the Ghetto. The boys are really coming into their own: almost no complaints about the cold and it was heart warming to see them walking arm-in-arm after visiting the memorial to the Warsaw uprising.

Update 3: 11.30 am

It’s about -16 degrees Celsius in the day, colder at night. We’re just leaving Tkocin after an emotional visit to the mass grave in the forest…now making our way to Treblinka.
